Tucked away in Redfern Village – also known as the “local’s village” – Blackwater Grill opened its doors in December 2000. Starting off in the middle of winter, off the beaten path, and with the arrival of our seasonal visitors still some four months away, we had to provide exceptional food and service from the beginning… or look for other careers in a big hurry!
Well, we’re still here!! And if you ask any local about Blackwater Grill, they’ll likely tell you how many times they’ve returned – bringing family, friends and guests. What keeps them coming back? We’ve got the best low country, cajun and southern coastal cuisine. Add good service in a casual “fish camp” atmosphere and what more could you want?
Owner Daniel Veal is “hands on” – and you’ll find him here most every evening… making sure your visit will be the first of many.
